The Northern Chumash Tribal Council is in escrow to acquire the Dos Pueblos Ranch — more than 200 acres of ecologically rich and culturally sacred land on the Gaviota Coast, just north of Santa Barbara and adjacent to the new Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary. This land carries profound historical and spiritual meaning and is part of the ancestral territory of for the Chumash People. Bringing it back under tribal stewardship is a once-in-a-multi-generation opportunity to restore our relationship with the land, honor our ancestors, and carry forward a powerful legacy of environmental education, cultural revitalization, and conservation.
We are launching Dos Pueblos, Together because we believe this vision can only be realized with the strength of community. Every gift — whether $10, $100, $1,000 or much more — brings us closer to securing this sacred place for future generations. Your support will help realize our vision to secure heritage sites along the central coast and ensure that Dos Pueblos Ranch remains a place of learning, healing, and connection to nature. Together, we can make history by returning land to Chumash stewardship and creating a living legacy of care for Mother Earth and each other.
